Korngold’s Violin Concerto

Sharetix had the pleasure of providing our recipients with an enchanting evening at Abravanel Hall, featuring the Utah Symphony's performance of Erich Wolfgang Korngold's Violin Concerto. This particular concert was a gem as it brought the "glitz and glamour" of Hollywood to the classical stage, showcasing a work by a composer renowned for his film scores. We were especially excited for our attendees to witness the Utah Symphony debut of South Korean-German violinist Clara-Jumi Kang, whose virtuosity brought Korngold's soaring melodies and dramatic flair to life. For many, experiencing a live performance of such a captivating and emotionally rich concerto provides a unique and inspiring connection to music. Sharetix is grateful to the Utah Symphony for their continued partnership, enabling us to open doors to these cultural experiences for our community members. Here is what one group shared after their experience, “Our kids dressed up and were on high level behavior. They used appropriate language and manners and were kind to each other and others and were appreciative of the beautiful music and surrounding scenery. They definitely rose to the level of the occasion.” What a great way to cap off a wonderful season of music from the Utah Symphony.
