Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat
Sharetix was pleased to be part of the special special sensory-friendly performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Hale Centre Theatre. Tailored specifically to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for audience members and their families, the performance featured adjusted sound levels, softer lighting, and a relaxed atmosphere. Our Sharetix ticket recipients enjoyed the vibrant costumes, catchy musical numbers, and uplifting storytelling, enjoying a stress-free theater experience designed with accessibility and inclusion at its core. “It was really fun. I haven't taken her to a play since about 2010. She loves plays and musicals and ballets. We usually just watch them on video or stream them. Its just difficult because there are so many people and it's so loud. They turned the sound down and kept some of the lights on so it was just perfect.”
“My daughter is AuDHD and my son is nonverbal autistic. We loved the music and the performers! My daughter loved the aerialists and my son LOVED the bright colors of the costumes and the screens all around on the walls. He loved the music and was dancing and wiggling the whole time in my lap. It was so fun and relaxing knowing there were other families just like us in the audience—understanding of the possible noise or movements of my kids.
