Sketches of Spain

The Utah Symphony shared tickets to Sketches of Spain this past weekend featuring Benjamin Beilman on violin. They performed works from four French composers (Lalo, Ravel, Aubert and Debussy) and took us on a trip to Spain.

“The best part of the experience was seeing my son's face as the performance started. He is 5 and is in love with music. His reactions change depending on if the music is the car radio, his record player or live music. He lights up with live music in a way that he can't in any other activity. Thank you so much for this opportunity.” - Emily, age 35

“Just being there was wonderful! We loved the preconcert performance of the young violinists. In the concert, the violin soloist, Benjamin Beilman, was amazing. The keyboard percussionist was fun to watch. The performance of “Unstuck” was terrific! I almost laughed out loud! I couldn’t pick just one best part. The evening was enjoyable start to finish. Thank you, thank you!” - Marilyn, age 81
