Thierry Fischer Conducts Messiaen, Smetana & Sibelius 2

It is always exciting to watch Maestro Fischer conduct the Utah Symphony. This concert was full of inspiring musical melodies and virtuosity. We watched as Maestro Fischer explored Messiaen’s fascination with birdsong with Utah Symphony principal pianist, and Messiaen specialist, Jason Hardink as featured soloist. It was also exciting to hear the Moldau performed in person. Thank you Utah Symphony for making this extraordinary evening possible.

Our Sharetix community thanks you!

“It was a lovely event to sit in the symphony Hall and listen to the orchestra perform. I always like to see if I can tell which instruments may be getting a chance to stand out in the music. It was so fun to attend this wonderful performance.” - Kathryn

“Intensely beautiful. Lovely experience after working dollar bins at Thrift store. My favorite was how everyone appreciated each other by tapping their bows and their toes. Thank you all so very much.”- Deborah

“It was amazing. It could have gone for another hour.” - Del
