Natural History Museum of Utah

Sharetix has a great partnership with NHMU and are pleased to help distribute free passes to eligible non-profit groups to visit the museum. Sharetix agencies attend the museum year-round. Here are a few of the recent experiences from Sharetix recipients, including visits to see the excellent, “EGYPT, The Time of Pharaohs” exhibit which closed in January. We look forward to the latest exhibit, “The Nature of Color” now through August.

“Helps build a positive bond with the kinship child. Also, helps take the financial stress of caring for an additional child. The kinship child has a ton of anxiety in group and public settings. I have been able to see growth and improvement after each event we have attended. The kids loved the dinosaur fossils, the color exhibit, and the geodes and gems. They learned a lot while having fun doing it.” - Erin

“A fabulous museum and too much to digest in one visit. The dinosaur museum is impressive and the display of such ornaments, available to purchase, is amazing. I enjoyed the displays of rocks and minerals which brought back many memories.” - John

“I enjoyed the Egypt part the most and the dinosaurs. It was fun.” - Amy

“It was nice to get out of the house and enjoy a place that isn’t chaotic.” - Morgan

"The best part was…”the bonding with my peers and the gemstones and dinosaurs.” - Carol

“First time going and checking out the Egypt and Dinosaur exhibits.”- Adrian

“The history and environment was awesome. I learned a lot about culture and the earth and the fact that it was a positive thing to do besides drugs- alcohol.” - Matthew

“Seeing the exhibits of things that I wouldn’t have thought about otherwise.” Gary
