Here Comes Santa Claus
Abravanel Hall was filled with festive cheer as our Sharetix recipients joined the Utah Symphony for their annual holiday family series concert, "Here Comes Santa Claus!" With familiar holiday pieces and a special visit from Santa Claus himself, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season. This unforgettable experience was made possible through the incredible generosity of Mountain America Credit Union, whose support as the event donor allowed hundreds of Sharetix recipients to enjoy this special holiday event. We are grateful for partners who believe in the power of music to bring people together.
We asked our ticket recipients to tell us the best part of the attending the Santa symphony. Here are some of their responses:
"Thank you so much for making the Here Comes Santa Claus tickets possible for my CASA kids and me. This experience meant more than I can put into words. For these kids—who have been through so much uncertainty and loss—this was a rare chance to just be kids, to feel excited, included, and joyful. Watching their faces light up, hearing them laugh, and seeing them fully present in the moment was incredibly special. It created a memory we will all hold onto, and it helped strengthen the trust and connection we’re building together. Moments like this remind them that they are seen, valued, and supported by a community that truly cares. Your generosity made a real difference in their lives, and I am deeply grateful for your kindness and support.” - Utah CASA Recipient
“It was fun to take my daughter to hear the music. The little arts and crafts there were also fun and the elves giving out candy canes was my daughter’s favorite!” – Stephanie
“Having my little boy experience such a beautiful show and music. His face lit up and was so happy!” – Ana
“The event was amazing. It’s no easy feat to get my daughter to sit for an entire hour. But the music, lights and dialogue were perfect for her. We laughed and sang and really felt the Christmas Spirit” – Megan
“Being able to go to the event together guilt free as we aren't able to afford these extras in our budget.” – Emily
“It was great to experience Christmas music and be able to get out in the city.” – Savana
“I loved that it was short for the kids. They loved the tooth fairy.” – Thea
“It was wonderful! So glad I could expose the kids to the Arts this way. They loved the music. Even though they are teens, I think they liked Santa.” – Debbie
“It was Sophie's first experience attending the Utah Symphony. We had so much fun! She loved it!”
– Sophie’s Mom
“Getting opportunities to do events that I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. I want to be able to give my son chances to have experiences like this but the cost vs. the chance he would want to leave make it so I don't purchase tickets. This event being free made me excited to try. And with that off our minds we were able to go and enjoy and he ended up staying the entire time! We loved it.” – Carley
“I really enjoy music and especially at Christmas time. The concert was amazing and I’m so thankful we were able to attend. Thank you so much!! What a fun memory for us.” – Sadie
“I love having the chance to bring my kids to events we wouldn't have been able to take them to. Being able to attend these events keeps my kids busy and their minds on positive things.” – Chelsie
“I loved being able to share this experience with my entire family, even my young kiddos!” – Meghann
“The ticket office was very helpful and accommodating and Josie our daughter with Rett Syndrome was grinning ear to ear when she saw Santa!” – Ashtyn
