Utah Royals

The energy was electric at America First Field as our Sharetix ticket recipients gathered to watch Utah Royals FC take on the Washington Spirit. Despite an 80-minute weather delay due to lightning early in the match, the excitement in Sandy never wavered. Shortly after play resumed, USWNT star Trinity Rodman found the net in the 28th minute to give Washington a 1–0 lead. The Royals fought back with continuous pressure and late chances but Spirit goalkeeper Sandy MacIver delivered crucial saves to hold on to the shutout. It was an thrilling night of professional soccer.

Here are a few comments from Sharetix ticket recipients after the event:

“It was easy to take 2 special needs girls to a girls' soccer game. They were excited to be a part of the action. We loved that there was handicap parking which is always a challenge for us. Everyone was welcoming and helpful and treated the girls with us very well. It was a fun event to cheer for even if there was lightning and we had to shelter in place in our cars. We eventually left but we loved the 40 min we got at the event.” - Kimberly

The best part was…”Just being able to go do something we could not have afforded. Give the kids an experience.” - Camille
