Romeo + Juliet

Thank you Ballet West for sharing tickets with our Sharetix community. The romance, the music, the beautiful dancers… all made for a magnificent evening. We loved our night at the ballet with the star-crossed lovers. A great way to celebrate Valentine’s with loved ones.

“My 8 y.o. daughter was delighted to attend Romeo and Juliet this past weekend. With sparkling eyes and an eager step, she commented on how fancy she was as her shoes carried her through the lobby and up the stairs to the Mezzanine. Her eyes were riveted on the stage as she watched this classic love story unfold. Her breath was taken away more than once. She squealed with delight as she watched the jesters entertain in the marketplace. She gasped as swords were drawn and a fight ensued. Each time the house lights came on she desperately asked if we had to go, "But I'm not ready!" she exclaimed. Her favorite scene took place in the family tomb where Romeo succumbs to his self inflicted wounds and Juliet awakes. When asked in the elevator on our way out whether she liked it she gasped and said, "Oh, yes! It was wonderful!" She wanted to talk about the experience long after we were home and settled. Thank you Sharetix for making this magical afternoon a reality!” - Heidi
