Celebración Sinfónica

Several of our partner agencies were invited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a program featuring the spirited sounds of Latin America and Spain, led by the vivacious conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez and featuring Costa Rican trumpet soloist José Sibaja with the Utah Symphony. With food, crafts and dancers on the plaza beforehand, it was a festive atmosphere of culture at Abravanel Hall. One of our recipients, Eric, wrote us following the performances saying, “It was a 3-hour positive experience allowing me to not constantly think about my current problems. It was relaxing and a reminder of how life is supposed to be experienced.” Thank you Utah Symphony for a wonderful evening of music.
