Moulin Rouge! is more than a musical — it is a state of mind. Moulin Rouge was an eye-popping, over the top, electrifying experience watching a world where Bohemians and aristocrats rub elbows. Baz Luhrman’s film came to life onstage, remixed in a musical mash-up extravaganza. It was a theatrical celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and above all, Love.
