Pagliacci
Pagliacci has one of the most moving tenor arias in all of the operatic repertoire, “Vesti La Giubba.” Sung at the end of the first act, when Canio discovers his wife’s infidelity, but must prepare for his performance of Pagliacci the clown because the “show must go on” was very moving. Utah Opera staged a stellar production of Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci with great performances from all of the cast. Thank you for a memorable night Utah Opera!
