Suffs

Our Sharetix recipients joined a captivated audience for the Tony Award-winning musical SUFFS. The performance brought the final, turbulent years of the women’s suffrage movement to life. A major highlight of the day was the Voices of Women Festival held right outside in McCarthey Plaza, which celebrated Utah’s unique history as the first place in the U.S. where women voted under an equal suffrage law. Inside the theater, the powerhouse all-female cast moved the crowd with anthems like "Keep Marching," leaving our recipients feeling inspired. It was a great reminder of the power of persistence and the importance of having a voice in our community.

We received this thank you from one of the groups that attended:

“The Women's Empowerment Group had the wonderful opportunity to attend SUFFS at the Eccles Theater, thanks to the free tickets provided by Sharetix.

Our group of 12 women ranged in age from 16 to 70, and several had never experienced a live performance at the Eccles before. The play was incredible, and this outing created a meaningful experience that would not have been possible without your support.

The women left feeling educated, inspired, and deeply grateful for this opportunity. Thank you for making such a powerful experience accessible to our community.”
