See Wild Utah! Spanning three fresh acres on the east side of Utah’s Hogle Zoo, Wild Utah opens a new area to enjoy at the zoo and a new space to create champions for wildlife. 

!The Aline W. Skaggs Wild Utah exhibit is unlike any other zoo experience. With personal animal experiences, hands-on conservation opportunities, and behind-the-scenes access to animal care, guests can engage with Utah wildlife like never before. Wild Utah residents include Cougars, Bighorn Sheep, Bobcats, Marmots, Skunks, Badgers, Gray Foxes, Flying Squirrels, and North American Porcupines.

 No matter what time of year or what time of day you visit the Zoo there is always something new and exciting to see. Hogle Zoo has hundreds of different species to see. Visit the African Savanna with giraffes, zebras and ostriches, all roaming the savanna while lions watch nearby. Other exhibits not to miss –  Rocky Shores, featuring polar bear, sea lions, seals, grizzly bears, river otters and bald eagles and Asian Highlands, a re-creation of a Himalayan village featuring five endangered Asian cat species. Children two and under are free and do not require a ticket. Admission does not include train or carousel rides.
