The Museum is Open!
Here's what we're doing at the Museum to protect your health and safety on your next visit:
Tickets must now be reserved in advance using our online ticketing system to limit capacity in the galleries
Face coverings are required for all staff, volunteers, and visitors over the age of 2
Physical distancing is required between visiting groups
A one-way path through the Museum has been implemented
Sanitization stations are positioned throughout the Museum
A complimentary stylus is issued to each guest for “hands-free” interaction with exhibits
Free passes are available for eligible nonprofits to attend the Natural History Museum of Utah. Tickets must be reserved in advance. Passes are available year-round and can be used at any time. For more information, please contact Sharetix directly. Each Sharetix Pass admits one individual and is valid 1:00 PM to closing (5:00 PM) Monday – Thursday and all day Sunday (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Sharetix passes are not valid Friday or Saturday.
The Natural History Museum of Utah, the University of Utah, is one of the leading scientific research and cultural institutions in the Intermountain West. Established in 1963, the Museum cares for over 1.2 million objects and offers innovative exhibitions and educational programs to thousands of residents and visitors each year, including traveling and permanent exhibits, special events and other programs. All galleries are wheelchair accessible.
Agencies are required to report usage immediately following their visits before requesting tickets for future Sharetix events.
